FREEDOM Air is a high-precision intraoral scanner designed for modern digital dentistry. Thanks to its ultra-lightweight design of only 145 g, wide scanning area, and accuracy up to 10 μm, it enables fast, comfortable, and highly reliable digital impressions.

With a scanning depth of up to 30 mm and a field of view of up to 18.5 × 15 mm, FREEDOM Air simplifies scanning of hard-to-reach areas, subgingival margins, and complex clinical cases while reducing the need for rescanning.

Intelligent features such as AI Voice Memo, LED status indicator, and Smart Scan Filter improve workflow efficiency and make scanning faster, more intuitive, and more comfortable for both clinicians and patients.

PIM Photogrammetry System

One of the key advantages of FREEDOM Air is its integrated PIM system — Precise Implant Measurement. It was specifically developed for All-on-X and full-arch implant cases where highly accurate implant positioning is essential.

Unlike conventional intraoral scanners that rely on sequential scanning and stitching multiple scan areas together, the PIM system uses a photogrammetry-based approach to simultaneously capture multiple scan bodies. This significantly reduces the risk of accumulated stitching errors and provides enhanced accuracy for full-arch implant restorations.

Using the dedicated PIM Guide and coded scan body recognition, FREEDOM Air enables reliable implant position capture and fast alignment of photogrammetry data with the intraoral scan. This creates a more predictable, efficient, and reliable workflow for advanced implantology and All-on-X treatments.

Open System

The scanner supports open file formats such as STL and PLY, allowing seamless integration with most CAD/CAM systems and laboratory software. FREEDOM Air provides a flexible and complete digital workflow — from scanning to design and manufacturing.
